A friend and I complete the Annapurna trek while on holiday in Nepal. The guide and porters were very nice and accommodating. The guide spoke English however we ran into a few situations where the language barrier was apparent. We had a few very cold days at the base camps, so recommending bring many layers of warm clothes. When at the base camps make sure you get up early to take in the beautiful views as clouds tend to rolling in the late morning obstructing the views. The hike itself was very manageable and could even be completed in less than the 9 days planned. Written April 15, 2018

My wife and I did the 7 day Langtang Valley trek in mid-March 2018. Just WOW! Highly recommended for anyone with limited time and/or hiking endurance as you encounter a wide variety of gorgeous scenery and mingle with sweet, kind people from a wide variety of backgrounds and heritage (this trail is on the border of Tibet and Nepal, so there's lots of cultural diversity among the locals). Our guid, Prakash, was super sweet, honest and trustworthy. He had really good rapport with everyone on the trail. He made sure we were taken care of and had fun. The tea houses were inviting and all kinds of charming. This valley was the epicenter of the 2015 avalanche and it was astonishing to see how much and how hard the people have worked to rebuild. It was inspiring in so many ways, and we're happy to have contributed, however small, to their recovery. So if you're looking into a trek in Nepal, check out Nepal Lion. You won't be disappointed!

We booked a nine-day ABC-trek with Nepal Lion Treks. Already before and throughout the trek, we felt very comfortable receiving all the necessary information from Shiva (office) and our great guide Binod! Binod spoke sufficient English and had a close eye on our well-being all along the trek. He took care of everything (e.g. food, booking the teahouses, getting blankets, checking on symptoms of altitude sickness) and was fun to have around. So we could concentrate on the main things: Hiking, hiking and hiking ;-). The trek is really awesome and leads you through many different climates and landscapes! If this is your first real trek, you will most likely find it a bit strenuous but you will be rewarded by magnificient views and a great experience. Nepal Lion Tours assists you with personally tailoring the trek to your own needs and schedule and is flexible to adapt and make changes even during the trip.

I booked this trip last minute when I found out I was heading to Nepal for work in late January. Nepal Lion Tours and Treks made booking the trip very easy. went alone with guide in end of January/beginning February. Had a wonderful meeting with different villages during all trekking which could see the real lifestyle from Nepal Lang Tang Valley, Tibetan Culture and Nepalese Culture. Absolutely mind blowing experience from first day (bus trip till to the starting point) until last day. Watching local culture and how they are re-building a new city after huge earthquake from 2015. Strongly recommend for who want to feel real mountain life, local village lifestyle, have a good accomodation with such nice Nepale food. Ultimately, reaching the mountain peak of 4984m is breathtaking view for all valley!! With such great service starting from airport pickup, meeting before trekking (orientation), friendly and qualified guide, easygoing staff and very flexible for any situation. Just had great first Nepal memories with them.

View was really great. The bookings for the hotel rooms were the best! The rooms had a great view and the food was delicious. Our guide Prakash was knowledgeable about the history and geography of the locations. Everything was well taken care of and we enjoyed our journey.

We did the manaslu circuit trek with Nepal lion tours and their support and service was outstanding. They organised everything efficiently and Binod (our guide) allowed us to proceed at our own pace and adapted each day's walking for us. This meant we finished the trek slightly quicker than planned so allowed for a more relaxed finish at the end. The tea houses we stayed in we're all very good and food was very good as well. Nepal Lion Tours were great to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone looking to do trekking in Nepal.

This is my first time being here, this is a great company with a amazing tour guide, I don’t need worry much, the guide organised all the things during whole journey and I saw a wonderful sunrise in poon Hill, I’ve seen many stars from the mountain!! it s totally worth it!! It is welcomed If you travel alone here !! Nepal I’ll back someday!! Beautiful country !!
