Itinerary
A scenic drive along the Trishuli River takes you to Soti Khola, the trailhead for the Short Manaslu Trek. Overnight in a teahouse.
The trail follows the river through forested valleys and small villages, offering the first glimpses of the surrounding hills. Overnight at a teahouse.
Crossing rivers and passing local villages, you enter the Manaslu Conservation Area. Jagat is a gateway settlement with rich Tibetan-Buddhist culture.
The trail ascends gradually along the Budhi Gandaki River. Pass through terraced fields, mani walls, and traditional villages before reaching Deng.
Today’s trail climbs through pine and rhododendron forests, passing small monasteries and shrines. Enjoy panoramic views of Ganesh Himal and Himchuli. Overnight at lodge in Namrung.
The path becomes more alpine, offering incredible views of Mt. Manaslu and surrounding peaks. Samagaon is a traditional Tibetan-style village. Overnight stay in a lodge.
Acclimatization and cultural exploration day. Visit Pungyen Gompa and nearby trails for incredible Himalayan vistas.
A short and moderate trekking day to Samdo, a small village near the Tibetan border. Enjoy serene mountain landscapes. Overnight in lodge.
