Itinerary

Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After a short briefing about the trip, you can take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. If time permits, you may explore the bustling streets of Thamel, the heart of Kathmandu’s tourist hub, where colorful shops, local eateries, and cultural vibrancy provide your first taste of Nepal.

Today is dedicated to exploring Kathmandu’s rich cultural heritage. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the serene Boudhanath Stupa, and the hilltop Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. A walk through Kathmandu Durbar Square offers a glimpse into the city’s royal history. In the evening, a pre-trip meeting will be held where guides provide final instructions for the trek.

A scenic flight takes you from Kathmandu to Pokhara, offering your first glimpse of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From Pokhara, a short drive leads to the trailhead, where the trek begins. The hike to Dhampus passes through terraced fields and traditional villages before reaching the comfort camp, where you’ll enjoy stunning sunset views over the Himalayas.

Leaving Dhampus, the trail winds gently through forests and ridges, providing quiet moments away from crowded trekking routes. As you make your way toward Landruk, a charming Gurung village, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna South peaks.

Today’s walk is shorter but scenic, climbing steadily through lush rhododendron forests to reach Ghandruk. This traditional Gurung settlement is famous for its stone houses, cultural heritage, and breathtaking mountain backdrop. The afternoon can be spent exploring the village and learning about the Gurung way of life.

The trail from Ghandruk to Tadapani is a steady climb through dense oak and rhododendron forest, filled with birdsong and occasional mountain glimpses. After about four hours of walking, you’ll arrive in Tadapani, a small village nestled in the forest with wide views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Today the trek leaves the busier routes and climbs into more remote alpine meadows. The walk is longer, taking six to seven hours, but the peaceful surroundings and changing landscapes make it rewarding. At Bhaisi Kharka, your eco-camp offers unobstructed views of the high Himalayas.

A challenging yet rewarding day, the trail ascends gradually towards Kopra Ridge, a spectacular viewpoint high above the valley. This is one of the highlights of the trek, offering sweeping panoramas of Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Fang. Watching sunset here is an unforgettable experience.

You have the option today to trek to the sacred Khayer Lake, a long but spectacular hike that can take up to nine hours round trip. The route passes through yak pastures and alpine landscapes, with stunning views throughout. For those who prefer to rest, relaxing at Kopra Ridge with breathtaking mountain scenery is equally rewarding.

Descending from the high ridges, today’s trek leads you into quiet trails through forests and small settlements. The walk takes about six to seven hours, ending in the village of Swantha, where you can enjoy a comfortable night at a lower altitude.

The day begins with a trek through Ghorepani, a popular trekking stop, followed by an ascent to Poon Hill. Here you will witness one of Nepal’s most iconic sunrise views over the Himalayas. Continuing onwards, you reach Upper Phulbari, a quiet location with wide mountain panoramas.

Today’s route follows alpine ridgelines and open meadows, passing Jaljala Danda, a scenic ridge with vast views of the surrounding ranges. The trek then gradually descends to Les Par, where you’ll spend the night in a serene campsite surrounded by nature.

Descending further into the foothills, the trail passes through traditional villages and forests alive with birdlife. The day is easier, with about four to five hours of walking, ending in Ghibrang—a charming hillside village where you can enjoy views of the lower valleys.

The final day of trekking takes you on a gentle descent to Nayapul. After about three to four hours of walking, you’ll be picked up and driven back to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free to relax by the lakeside or explore the town’s vibrant cafes.

A short morning flight takes you back to Kathmandu, where you’ll have the afternoon free for shopping, sightseeing, or simply relaxing before your departure.

Your Himalayan adventure comes to an end today. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight, leaving Nepal with unforgettable memories of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
