Itinerary

You will be greeted at Tribhuvan International Airport by a representative from Nepal Lion Treks and transferred to your luxury hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, you will attend a trek briefing session and enjoy a welcome dinner.

Visit UNESCO heritage sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). You’ll also prepare trekking gear, finalize permits, and meet your trekking guide. Overnight in Kathmandu.

A scenic 35-minute mountain flight takes you to Lukla. After meeting the porters, begin trekking along the Dudh Koshi River through small Sherpa villages and lush pine forests. Arrive at Phakding and check in at a luxury lodge with a riverside view.

Cross suspension bridges and ascend through pine forests with views of Thamserku peak. After a final steep climb, reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital. Stay in a premium lodge with mountain views, private bathrooms, and fresh bakery options.

Today is for rest and acclimatization. Hike to the Everest View Hotel (3 880 m) for panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum or relax at a café. Return to your luxury lodge in Namche.

Walk through pine forests and past yak pastures to Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village. Visit the Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery, where a yeti scalp is preserved. Overnight in a comfortable lodge with beautiful mountain views.

Descend to the river, then ascend through rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche Monastery – the largest in the region. The monastery sits against a backdrop of Everest and Ama Dablam. Enjoy evening prayers and stunning sunsets. Stay in a nearby lodge with warm rooms.

Trek along a gentle trail with views of Himalayan peaks. Pangboche is one of the highest permanent settlements in the region. Explore the old monastery and enjoy peaceful surroundings. Luxury lodge accommodation with great food and service.

You can either relax at Pangboche, interact with locals, or take an optional hike to Ama Dablam Base Camp (~4 600 m) for an off-the-beaten-path experience. Return to lodge for rest and delicious meals.

Retrace your steps to Tengboche, enjoy a relaxed afternoon with monastery visits or nature walks. Stay in a cozy lodge.

Descend through forests and river valleys, cross suspension bridges, and arrive back in Namche. Celebrate your return with good food, a hot shower, and warm lodge facilities.

A pleasant downhill walk brings you back to Phakding, where you can rest by the river and enjoy a peaceful evening in your lodge.

Complete your final day of trekking with a short uphill section to Lukla. Celebrate your successful trek with your guide and porter team.

Take a morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time for shopping, spa, or relaxation.

Buffer day in case of flight delays. You can explore Thamel for souvenirs, try Nepali cuisine, or join an optional day tour.

Essential items include comfortable trekking shoes, light warm layers, down jacket, gloves, sunglasses, sun hat, and a small daypack. A sleeping bag is usually not needed in luxury lodges.
