We're finishing our 10-day trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary in Nepal, organized by Nepal Lion. We departed Kathmandu by bus to Pokhara, where the organizer arranged for us to stay in a comfortable hotel before heading into the mountains. We began our trek with a Nepalese guide, Dawa, by walking through picturesque villages and rice paddies to the ABC trail. The trek along the main trail was full of unforgettable experiences and interesting adventures, and our guide's care was top-notch. Accommodations were sometimes modest, but Dawa made sure to compensate for any inconveniences with his care, humor, and professionalism. We highly recommend this travel agency and definitely recommend a Dawa guide!

Vi har haft 5 skønne og hårde og sjove og smukke og overvældende dage med trekking, hvor vi fik oplevet den nepalesisk naturkraft på helt tæt hold. Vi vandrede op fra Syabrubesi til Kyanjin Gompa (2400 højdemeter!) på 3 dage, og ned på 2 dage. Undervejs oplevede vi både frodig skov, stejle fjeldsider og snevandring, og når vejret var klart havde man den mest uforglemmelige udsigt til massevis af høje tinder. Hele oplevelsen blev ledt på vej af vores erfarne guide Binoda, og vores knæ var super glade for at vi havde den søde bærer Rajendra med. Binoda havde styr på alt, og var super opmærksom på hvordan vi havde det undervejs og tilpassede tempoet efter vores behov. Han er også opmærksom på symptomer på højdesyge. Vi tog Diamox, men mærkede ikke noget.
