The trail to Paldor Peak
Paldor Peak Climbing brings a lot to the table, with a wonderful trail that lasts for 19 days. The great landscapes and experiences you gather through these trails will surely be memorable one. The trip starts as you take a ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trek from Syabrubesi starts from day 4, as you push through various terrain and landscapes.
Reaching all the way to Lari will take about 3 days, which will be a comparatively easy journey. Thus, here at Lari, you will have an acclimatization day before reaching the Paldor Base Camp. The next day you will reach to the high camp of Paldor Peak, and then finally summiting the other day.
The descent begins from an alternative trail, as you reach Tatopani for a popular hot bath in the area. In the next few days you will trek to reach Syabrubesi, from here you will take a drive back to Kathmandu ending the tour.

Itinerary
On the first day of your trip, you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport. We will receive you from Tribhuwan International Airport. From here, we will drop you at your comfy hotel, where you can get refreshed. You can also explore the nightlights of the city.
The following day, we will take you sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley. We will only be able to cover the major tourist attractions sights. You will be fascinated by the historical and religious heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and many more.
Today, we will drive North to Syabrubesi in a private vehicle. The journey is of 8 hours and will take you to higher altitudes in the region. You will explore many local Nepali cultures on your way and the topographical diversity of the country.
Your trekking journey begins now, starting from our trail to Gatlang village. We will start walking through the banks of Chilime Khola to cross two suspension bridges, one to the north and the other to the south.
Moreover, the ascension trail brings us to many farmlands, lotus mandalas, and stone carvings. Finally, when we reach the Gatlang village, we will rest for the night.
The following day, we have a 7-hour walk awaiting us. We will head to Somdang village, passing through Khumbu Danda. Our trail goes through pine, rhododendron, and fir forests, which take us to a constructed road. We will reach Somdang and stay overnight.
We can now clearly see the spectacular views of Ganesh Himal and the Annapurna Range. Our trail ascends through a rhododendron forest to the east side of Ganesh Himal. Next, we will reach Lari and relax for the night.
We will take leisure time to adapt our bodies to climatic conditions on this day. The elevation reaches over 4,800 meters, so our bodies need time to adjust to the altitude and go further uphill. You can explore the village in the meanwhile.
Today, we will reach the foot of Paldor Peak. Our summit ascension day is coming nearer. The views of the Ganesh Himal range are also getting more fascinating. We will set our camp at the base camp and explore the beautiful area.
The trail gets sloppy with the higher elevation. So, you might find this trail more challenging than the rest. However, you will do just fine if you have a good physique. Moreover, the heavenly views of the mountain ranges are there to keep you awake and refreshed.
Paldor Peak is one step ahead of us. We will now climb the mountain and ascend toward our destination. Although it is a comparatively easy climb, you must follow the instructions of the guide as there are many loose ends and rocky trails.
Once you summit the peak, you will mark this day as a victorious climb to Paldor Peak. Then, we will return to Base Camp and celebrate the night.
This is an extra day just in case our plans get delayed due to climatic conditions or other disturbances.
Our returning trail commences this day as we head back to Somdang village. The beautiful pathway brings us to the manganese mine, so we should be careful here. Moreover, you will see many waterfalls and lakes along the way.
We will now move toward Gatlang village through Khumbu Danda. We will yet again see the beautiful landscapes and farmlands on our way. At night, we will stay at a guesthouse in Gatlang Village.
After breakfast, we will head toward the descending trail along the Bhotekoshi River to Thangbuche, which lies near Chilime village. We will stop at Thangbuche for lunch and see the Chilime hydropower dam.
From here, the trail will ascend along the hanging bridge until reaching Tatopani. We can take a refreshment bath at the local hot springs believed to heal all pains and aches. Overnight at a tented camp in Tatopani.
The following day, we will hike to Nagthali Danda, a beautiful viewpoint of the high snow-capped mountains. The trail passes mainly via the forested landscapes to Brimdang village. Then, we will stop there for lunch and rest for a while.
Furthermore, we will ascend to the Nagthali Danda. After enjoying the scenic views of the beautiful mountains, we will descend back to Tatopani. Overnight at a tented camp in Tatopani.
On this day, we will descend to Syabrubesi through the returning trail. The mountains seem far away and go away from sight as we reach the end.
Our trek ends here, and now we will drive back to Kathmandu. The drive will be at the same interval as before. In 8 hours, you will be relaxing in your hotel room.
After successful mountain climbing, you deserve a day to yourself. On this day, you will spend your time in Kathmandu city. Moreover, you can explore the culture and have fun.
Finally, you will go home with beautiful memories and fun moments. We will drop you at the airport according to your scheduled flight. We will say our goodbyes and wish you luck on other adventurous journeys.
