The mountains, forrests, villages, food, people, we're all fantastic and the trek offers such a great experience without being too long or too challenging for our young family. Binod, our guide, took great care of us and is truly knowledgeable in his craft. Rajendra, our porter, was always there to assist and watch over us, and Shiva in the office was on top of every detail and quick to respond to our questions and to make any changes to the plan that we needed. Our guide Bal was amazing during our trek, he was extremely patient and caring for us both and made sure we got the BEST out of the experience. Bal was also very knowledgeable about the trek and provided us with all the information we could have wished for. Shiva the owner of the company was brilliant in helping us with any queries we had and making sure we were safe and cared for. This is a Nepalese company and therefore know their surroundings very well. I would recommend booking with this company you will get your money's worth 👍.

My bucket list item is now crossed off! Highly recommend booking with Nepal Lions tours. Shiva was professional from the get-go and answered all of my questions promptly. The assigned guide and porter were extremely supportive and I felt like I was in safe hands. The trek itself was incredible. The Manaslu region was diverse in climates (warm, dry valleys - to lush rainforest - to snow capped peaks) and there was a tonne of wildlife to see and experience. Definitely more affordable than other companies but still got the 5 star treatment.

Amazing trekking. Most beautiful landscape i have ever seen. Went up to 5000 meters. On the top you’ll have a 360 view of the valley and all the surrounding peaks. Suna is a great guide, fun to hang out with and very patient. Shiva was very friendly and arranged everything perfectly. We had an amazing time hiking to Everest base camp. We went with our two kids (11 and 13) and the guide and porters were really lovely and encouraging to all of us. We had to change the dates of our trip and Shiva was accommodating. Great time!

We had the most wonderful experience, each day exceeding our already high expectations. "Nepal Number One Guide" Bishnu and "Strong Man" Rajendra our porter provided professional and personable care. Bishnu, with his warm smile and genuine manner endeared himself to us managing all of our needs and adjustment to altitude, but tirelessly helped other trekkers with explaining menu items, operating showers and even finding their guide. Rajendra carried our bag with apparent ease and good humour. He was also attentive to our trips and stumbles, righting us on our feet without any injury. We walked late October 2022, with clear skies, stunning views, cool morning and evening but comfortable walking each day. Cold or hot showers at the end of each day (except at Darmasala) were an unexpected bonus. We were aware of the warmth and respect our guide was greeted with at each guesthouse, often resulting in us being provided the best room or best view.

Binod was a great guide on the Langtang Valley Trek, very friendly and good fun and took very good care of us in the lodges and up the trek. Moderateñy challenging first trek for new trekkers but we were well accomodated by Nepal Lion and especially Binod. Teahouses and views were great up the valley.
