This was a really wonderful trek and was perfectly organised by Shiva and team in Kathmandu. The trip was tailored to our specification including late changes to the itinerary on our part for flights to Pokhara. Special thanks go to the trekking team, guide and porter, Binod and Rajendra who are very experienced and knowledgeable about the trail. Binod and Rajendra really made our trip a memorable one and were very attentive to our safety and ensured that we enjoyed every minute of the trek with typical Nepali grace, charm and a welcoming nature. I strongly recommend hiking with Nepal Lion Tours and Treks and especially with Binod and Rajendra. Five stars!

I can’t recommend Shiva and his team highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our Poon Hill hike. It was a truly authentic experience. Although considered a relatively easy walk there were some challenges and our guide Bishnu ensured we took it at our pace. Even though we hiked in what is considered the off season and we were blessed with some fantastic weather it is worth considering doing this trek in summer. The waterfalls are magical and the fewer crowds made it a perfect time for us.

The staff were lovely and very capable. Their English was also really good. The pick up and drop off service from the international airport was also a great help, which reduced a lot of stress. Accomodation supplied was also a wonderful experience as the hosts were lovely and accommodating. I would stress that the one porter between two people does mean one bag though. I don’t really know what I was thinking would happen but yeah :)

We did the 9 day EBC trek with Shiva and his team. We had planned and paid in 2020 but due to Covid had to keep delaying until May 2022. Shiva and the Nepal Lion team honored and stayed honest with our payment and new schedule. We totally enjoyed and successfully completed the Trek. We were very satisfied with all the arrangements made and were impressed with the level of flexibility and prompt response of the team. Special mention to Bhishnu our guide who was a pleasure to spend 9 days with and our porters Ram and Sujan. Bishnu was also resourceful when we needed some medical attention. Truly a memorable trek with loads of fun, adventure and memories to cherish. Nepalese Lions marketing team also created 4 banners for each of our employer so we could display them. Truly professional work on the banners too. Overall an A+ team and we would strongly recommend them for EBC trek.

I had an amazing time on my trek to Annapurna base camp. As a solo traveller my guide Binod and porter Rajendra made sure I was well taken care of along my journey, not to mention many laughs/fun along the way. The guesthouses were clean, comfortable and safe. I highly recommend this tour.

Had an amazing trek with Lion Tours and guide Binod. Any time I had an issue they had the solution. They also kept it adaptable to what I wanted to do each day. The trek is stunning but the team, and particularly Binod the guide, really made it special. Can't wait to come back for another trek.

I did the lower Mustang tour. Everything was arranged well, making it easy to enjoy the trip. I was thankful for Shiva's advise of what to pack in my backpack. I didn't think i would need some of items and it turned out that I needed everything. The guide, Bishnu Devkota, was very friendly and helpful. Bishnu was able to quickly make adjustments in the schedule even when events happened like the plane that I was supposed to depart at the end of the trip being canceled due to unexpected snowfall. Bishnu quickly found a jeep for 40% cheaper than the other trekker's guides did. He is very experienced as a guide. I wouldn't have enjoyed this trip as much as I did if it wasn't for their experience and care. Thank you for helping to make this one of the most memorable trips. They have my absolute confidence for my next trip to the Annapurna trek or Upper Mustang trek. The Lower Mustang tour is good for everyone to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and culture without being a serious trekker.

Great agency, with my friend we trekked to Thorong La Pass! Awesome experience with good guides( Binot and Bikash) that helped us to reach the top in the pace we requested. Very good service! Shiva (the owner) helped us with everything and all was great, also the guides were tested for covid, and the tea houses as requested!

I went on the Manaslu trek in March 2020 with Nepal lion tours & treks and had an amazing time! The mountain and nature scenery was breathtaking and a really memorable hike for me! Nepal is such an amazing country with such lovely people. I felt safe every moment of the trek and the company really takes care about everything. Starting with a pick up from the airport and welcome dinner, they will help you with every concern. It was absolutely no problem to travel alone as a woman. Nikesh was the best guide I could wish for, we had a really good time. He always wanted me to be happy and took care about me. So I can 100% recommend this company and my guide, it was a breathtaking amazing trek I will never forget. Every time again, best choice:)
