One of my friends had been recommended Shiva's company and I'm glad he had as Shiva had a handle on everything from the start. Organisation and communication was superb as well as fantastic value for money. Our guide, Binod, met us at Kathmandu Airport along with Shiva and then never left our side for the trip. Binod took us to the pharmacy and shops to make sure we had all our last minute medicines etc. The flight to Lukla was sensational and then we met our porters. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Binod and Sabin, our main porter. They were super friendly and efficient. We stayed in cosy tea houses and food and drink was always good. I can't believe how well potatoes grow in the Himalayas! We are looking at another trek in the region next Easter and, if we do, we will definitely book with Shiva and Nepal Lion Tours again 🇳🇵 🦁 100% recommend. Fantastic company and services!

My friend and I went to Nepal from Canada with the goal of completing the Three Passes Trek in Everest region. While at home I contacted the Nepal Lion Tours and Treks and I asked few questions about the trek. Shiva from the company answered every one promptly. We didn`t book the trip thinking we could do it alone but upon arrival to Kathmandu I realized we needed help. So the next day I went to the Nepal Lion Tours.... and two days later we began our Himalayan adventure, which started by the flight to Lukla, organised by shiva and Nepal Lion. Even though we decided on using their service last minute everything was organised very well. I'd highly recommend Shivas company to anyone that is interested in doing a trek for Any Region to Nepal. Everything was communicated perfectly If i go back to nepal i definitely will book another trek with this company!!

Great tour, very friendly and helpful guide, definitely worth it! It was a good mix of trekking, enjoying the view, and relaxing. Good food in the teahouses and all in all a wonderful experience!

My links with Shiva and his team at Nepal Lion Tours and Treks spans over nearly 6 years. Just before COVID struck I had planned this trek with my dad and unfortunately could not come. Shiva came highly recommended to me by a good friend who had completed the 3 passes trek and he spoke very highly of Shiva. I was worried because of COVID that the money I had paid in advance would ‘disappear’. At all times Shiva was a man of his word. He initially offered me a full refund but I decided to postpone my trip and knew I would come again.

We had a wonderful trek through the most beautiful nature and majestic mountains. It's a perfect trek if you have limited time, but still want a good feel of the Himalayan mountains. One of the absolutely best parts of our trip was our Guide Suma and our two porters! Our guide were so kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the aera. Our porters were also so very sweet and fun. We became a litte team. Booking and information on the tour through the company prior to departure has been superb, they are very welcoming. We felt very comfortable going on this trip.
