We just back from a 11days trekking trip in the Langtang Valley organized by Nepal Lion Tours and Treks agency, and it was a truly authentic and memorable adventure. Everything was perfectly planned, without losing that sense of exploration we were looking for. Landscapes, food and the people we met along the way left us with beautiful memories. Binoud in particular was outstanding in organizing everything and was always ready to help with a smile. We had 7 wonderful days in the Lang Tang Valley. Our trek arranged by Nepal Lion Tours and Treks has offered a wealth of beautiful views, where we both walked through forest, on rocks, and in deep snow. We were so lucky to experience the beautiful mountains in both snow and high sun, and along the way we saw both monkeys, deer, yak oxen, donkeys and much more. It was cold on top, but luckily we got both good dunjacks and sleeping bags from Nepal Lion Tours and Treks. We were incredibly happy to have our guide Binoda with us, who was both entertaining and made the trip safe. Nor would we have failed our sweet carrier Rajendra, who made the steep stitches easier for us. If you don’t have knee problems or anything else and pack a light backpack, you can also easily carry it yourself, because the guide takes into account your pace and needs. However, a carrier was the right solution for us, as the descent was a bit hard for the knees.

7 day Long Tang trek with Nepal Lion Tours and treks is definitely recommended! We have had 5 lovely and hard and fun and beautiful and overwhelming days of trekking, where we got to experience the Nepali nature power on a very close track. We walked up from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa (2400 heights!) in 3 days, and down in 2 days. Along the way we experienced both lush forest, steep mountain sides and snow hiking, and when the weather was clear you had the most unforgettable view to tons of high peaks. The whole experience was led by our experienced guide Binoda, and our knees were super happy that we had the cute carrier Rajendra with us. Binoda had everything under control and was super attentive to how we had it along the way and adjusted the pace to our needs. He is also aware of symptoms of height disease. We took Diamox, but didn't notice anything.

Fantastic nice trip with a phenomenal view from Poon Hill. Our guide Binod was very responsive and we felt safe and in good hands from the start. From when we were received at the airport with flowers until we said goodbye, everything was well arranged. Accommodation was very authentic in tea houses/small hotels along the way. You get close to the families that run the sites. Everywhere we were welcomed well by cute smiling people, so we felt welcome. OBS: Important to take the package list for implicit. It’s cold in the mountains in February and the walls are thin, so earplugs are a good idea. The hike itself can be a little hard for the legs with many stairs (both up and down), but the surroundings are incredibly beautiful with rising streams, rododendron forest, giant bamboo and of course the Himalayas!

I was dreaming of trekking in Nepal for the past 20 years and finally finally did it :D I've chosen the 3 Passes trek for its amazing views and was accompanied by guide Dilli (solo female traveler). I carried my own backpack, which was easier than I imagined (a good backpack really makes a world of difference!). It took us 15 days to complete the trek with all the side trips I wanted to include. Dilli was very helpful advising me which side trips are best for aclimatization. I was a bit affraid of the altitude, since I got a terrible nausea ascenting Kilimanjaro a few years ago. But following Dilli's advice, I had absolutely no problem this time :) Shiva's organization (he was very prompt to answer all my questions and there were LOTS of them), great weather and above all Dilli's expertise and company made my trip absolutely perfect. I can fully recommend Nepal Lion Tours.

I must confess that I was unaware of the opportunity of guided treks to Everest Base Camp until a friend mentioned that he had successfully in May 2023 completed the trek with Nepal Lion Tours. Everest Base Camp was never on my Bucket List, but the opportunity of this once-in-a-lifetime experience intrigued me and I decided to give it a go. I did not shop around the various companies who offer the opportunity, but decide to rely on my friends recommendation of Nepal Lion Tours and signed up with them for November. This proved to be the right decision, as the whole trip was professionally organised to perfection by them. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport I was greeted and welcomed by Nepal Lion Tours` charming proprietor, Shiva. He accompanied me to my hotel and, later in his office, over a cup of chai, briefed me on the details of the tour and entrusted to me a sleeping bag and duffel bag (I already had my own down jacket with me).

I am Ram from NYC , United States. Did this trek solo in the final two weeks of Nov 2024. I successfully completed the trek including Tilicho lake and Thorongla pass. Porter Krishna Bhatta was very helpful and kept good company by talking on variety of topics. Guide Dava Sherpa made a custom change at my request to make the Thoonga pass day lot easier by starting at Throng High instead of Throng Pedi. Owner Shiva was very responsive and quickly organized everything just in two days. I thank the team at Nepal Lion for my success. I strongly recommend for other trekkers.

It was 14.11.24, we reached the Everest Base Camp, a dream come true. The beauty of the trail is just jaw dropping and the captivating landscapes around is a sight to behold. The rigours of the trek is always rewarded by mind blowing panoramic sceneries which always gives impetus to keep going. After the summit one just becomes euphoric. The ecstatic feelings sometimes turn melancholic to see the memorials of many who gave up their lives in the mountains unfortunately in pursuit of their adventurous dreams The entire journey is mesmerizing and gives us countless memories to cherish life long. I am much thankful to Nepal Lion Tours & Treks Pvt Ltd for making our endeavour a grand success. We were provided with comfortable & hygienic accommodations with good food throughout the trek, as assured by Nepal Lions. Our guide was a nice guy as well the porters who were all arranged by our trek operator.
