From the beginning, Shiva (agency manager) was very supportive, answering all of our doubts before we arrived in Nepal, as well as our guide Bishnu (@devkota.bishnu), who during the trek was always in a good mood (as you can see on the picture) and ready to explain things when we asked for it. The two things I’d recommend you understand better before starting the trek is that we’ve asked if doing Manaslu in 12 days was too hard and after talking to the team we ended up including (and paying for) an extra day, but we hadn’t realised previously that this extra day would be added in the end of the trek.

Had a great experience with Nepal Lion Tours on a 7 day Langtang Valley trek! They take care of everything from airport transfer, to renting sleeping bags, to handing tea house accommodations. Really enjoyed getting to know our guide Binod and porter Rajendra who were fun companions for the trek. Binod was very experienced and easy to communicate with. He did a great job planning out everything (especially as we were less experienced hikers), and also has a great eye for wildlife along the trail! Highly recommended if you are looking for a smooth trekking experience in Nepal!

I did the Pikey Peak trek. Shiva was excellent -my plans changed very quickly and he and my tour guide were quick to accomodate me between transportation and lodging. My tour included all lodging, local transportation, and a fantastic tour guide. I always felt safe and taken care of. Be sure to provide your schedule ahead of time- local transportation by jeep or air can be unreliable. i would highly recommend buffer days (built into the treks, but they are super important) to allow for contingencies in transportation. Shiva I felt went above and beyond to ensure my trip was enjoyable and that I was satisfied. Coming to Nepal can feel a bit overwhelming, but I was well-taken care of from the moment I landed to returning to the airport. My guide was remarkably helpful in pointing out spots of interest and adjusting to my fitness levels and altitude adjustment. The views are absolutely amazing, they even provided a sleeping bag and down jacket for my trip.

Nepal Lion Tours and Trek is a first class company that provides excellent service. My friend booked a trip with them to EBC back in January for a trek to Base Camp in April. And while he was telling me the details, I instantly booked. What I found out was how quick Shiva was to respond to any questions or concerns regarding the trek and how much he cares about the people who sign up to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. From our guide to our porters to where we stayed along the trek it was definitely worth it. Our guide picked us up at the airport to meet with Shiva at his office in Katmandu to go over all the details for the trek. Along the trek our guide ensured that we all made it safely. I did notice other people along the trek who did NOT have such a great experience with their guides and ultimately effects their trip. Also people traveling solo who opted not to go the route of hiring a guide.

Wow, what an amazing tour! The guys at Nepal Lion Tours and Treks were very friendly, helpful and quick to offer any assistance no matter what it may be. When organizing the tour, the guys were very responsive and were more than happy to go above and beyond to ensure we were looked after on the trek and also after. Trip was excellent. My brother and i booked through them. Very well scheduled and meals, accomodation and travel were included. They organised the whole trip for us. Would strongly recommend going here for tour guides.

Excellent trip to Everest Base Camp, I was well looked after by my guide who was very patient and did everything he could to make sure I was healthy and happy, what more could you ask for, just the two of us, trekked from Lukla to Namchie, then acclimatised and then Namchie to Dingboche, trekked a local mountain then trekked to Gorshep. Stayed in local lodge then trekked to EBC. Had beautiful views of the mountains and EBC. We trekked back to Gorshep then one stop off and back to Namchie and Lukla. 9 days in total. Definitely use the company again. Excellent value for money and great service.

Excellent trip! My wife and I identified the itinerary that we wanted for our trip to Nepal (Poon Hill trek, rafting and Chitwan safari with New Year´s Eve in Kathmandu) and we searched various travel companies to help make the itinerary work for us. We found Nepal Lion Tours and Treks Pvt Ltd via Bookmundi. The boss, Shiva, responded quickly and arranged the itinerary that we wanted with some extras that we hadn´t considered all for a reasonable price. After a few emails back and forth with Shiva to confirm all the details we were ready, happy and confident that the trip would be great. After arriving in Kathmandu, everything was arranged for us, and we were assigned Prakash as our guide for the week along with a porter for the trek. Prakash was talkative and funny, and looked after us greatly.

We did Annapurna basecamp trek in 9 days. We were a group of three and we took two porters and a guide. They were friendly and nice to us. Only minus side was that our guide did not speak very good english. But overall everything went smoothly and the views are just amazing. Highly recommended!
