Pisang Peak Climbing is yet another short and adventurous mountain climbing in Nepal. This trek will let you explore Nepal’s Himalayan and Hilly regions and the diverse culture.

You will have an excellent mountaineering experience climbing the top of Pisang Peak (6,091 m). Moreover, flora and fauna, hills, rivers, forests, and ethnic diversities will keep you entertained throughout the journey. 

We offer you a 19-day package with accommodation facilities at a reasonable price. In addition, you will be under the guidance of experts in trekking and tourism.

Your fabulous trip begins with the Kathmandu Valley tour. We will take you to explore the famous heritage sites in the valley. Then, we will drive to Chamje, heading toward Pisang Peak. You will enjoy the diverse culture of Nepal along the way with a trail filled with nature. 

From Chamje, you will start your walking journey to Pisang. Once you summit Pisang Peak, the sense of achievement you will feel is priceless. This journey is more than just an adventure. The return journey is also a beautiful one.

You will visit famous places like Manang, Muktinath, Jomsom, and many more. The one crucial thing you’ll remember about this journey is the homely feeling and fun experience with your trekking team. 

Itinerary

We will greet you at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu on your first trip day. Our team heartily welcomes you to our beautiful country. After a short introduction with our team members, we will drop you at your comfy hotel, where you’ll spend the night.

The next day, we will take you sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley. We will only be able to cover the major tourist attractions sights. You will be fascinated by the historical and religious heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and many more. 

We will also prepare the necessary paperwork and gear for the Pisang Peak climb.

Following the route of Prithvi Highway, we will move toward Chamje from Kathmandu. The path also lies along the banks of the Marsyangdi River. You can see the beautiful views of hills and valleys around the Hilly region of Nepal.

Your trekking journey begins from here out. The trail from Chamje to Dharapani will have many suspension bridges along the way. You will also cross the Marsyangdi river to reach the path leading to a forest. After a few hours of walking, you will get to Dharapani, where you will stay overnight.

Your next destination is Chame, which is 8 hrs away from Dharapani. The highlight of this day is the beautiful rhododendron forest and a traditional Tibetian-style village. You will walk along the banks of the Marsyangdi river to reach the Nar Phu Valley. Finally, after a short walk, you will get to Chame.

The following day, we will trek uphill toward Upper Pisang. The ascension trail crosses a suspension bridge and a coniferous forest. Today, you will also see the astounding views of Mt. Annapurna II and Pisang Peak from a small village on the Upper Pisang.

After coming a long way above sea level, your body needs to adjust to the climate and altitude. So, we will spend the day in Upper Pisang, adapting to the environment while exploring the area. You must be careful about getting altitude sickness; however, it isn’t unusual.

The following sunrise, we will trek toward the Pisang Base Camp after a refreshing breakfast. The trail goes through a thick forest to Kharka, where you will see a fantastic view of landscapes and valleys. After a short climb, we will reach the base camp and set our camp.

Today, we will ascend over 1000 meters altitude reaching the High Camp. Most paths are narrow and sloppy, so you might find this day more challenging. Once we get there, we will set up our camp and prepare for the next day’s exciting climb.

Finally, your day of summiting Pisang Peak is here. The snowy paths are beautiful and full of adventure. You will also see the heavenly views of the Annapurna Mountain Range and Glaciers. By the end of this day, you will be relaxing in the Pisang Base Camp.

You have more exciting journeys ahead today. The previous day’s climb would have refreshed you, so we would walk toward Manang Valley. Now, the trail of Annapurna Circuit Begins. Again, your journey is full of insightful views of the mountains.

Once you explore the distinct culture of Manang Valley, we will head to Yak Kharka. The trail is steeper and leads to an alpine landscape. Yak Kharka is a beautiful village with few settlements and a resting point for travelers of the Annapurna Circuit.

This day could be more challenging as it primarily has uphills and barely any plain areas. We will pass through Ledar Village, the last village we pass by before reaching Thorang Phedi. All your hard work will be worth it once you see the exciting views of mountains like Gudang, Thorung, Khatungkan, and many more.

You will finally get to the World’s Highest Pass on the eleventh day, Thorang La Pass. From such a height, you will be amazed by the scenery you’ll see here. It is a paradise for photographers and nature lovers. After you cross the pass, you will reach a famous temple, Muktinath.

Considered the home of Lord Vishnu, Muktinath is a sacred temple for Hindus. It also signifies Hindu-Buddhist harmony through nunnery. You will learn many things about these religions on this day’s tour. 

After exploration, we will start descending toward Jomsom, the windiest town in Nepal. You can see many natural sceneries from your room window in this place.

You will have an early flight to Pokhara on this day. Pokhara is the tourist hub of Nepal, so you will come across many fellow travelers as you explore the Lakeside streets. Besides, there are many pubs and restaurants to relax and eat delicacies. 

 

Pokhara is Lake City, so you will visit many Lakes and possibly go boating on this day. Moreover, there are multiple caves to explore, like Bat Cave, Mahendra Cave, and Gupteswor Cave. Our tour guide will help you explore many tourist areas possible in a day.

Finally, with our tour guide, you will return to Kathmandu by a comfy tourist bus.
